At Savoy Hotel Manila, these beloved Christmas favorites took center stage on September 15 as vloggers, media friends, and hotel Guests gathered for “Puto Bumbong, Bibingka, Merienda at Pika-Pika”—an afternoon that brought together Filipino flavors, fun, and stories.
Led by General Manager Den Navarro, the afternoon began with a first-hand tasting of Savoy’s Puto Bumbong and Bibingka, featuring familiar Christmas flavors given a contemporary twist. The excitement continued with friendly Puto Bumbong and Bibingka eating contests, where media participants and hotel Guests joined in the fun.
But what made the afternoon special was that the gathering did not end with the last bite. Guests stayed on to enjoy a sumptuous merienda and pika-pika while exchanging stories, catching up, and simply enjoying good food and good company.
