A. Zarate General Hospital, located in Las Piñas City, has formally launched the Filipino Mega Hospital Center for Cancer Treatment, established through a joint venture between
hospital founder Dr. Albert Zarate and Filipino Mega Business Hub (FMBH), headed by entrepreneur Mega Baua.

The collaboration integrates Dr. Zarate’s three decades of medical expertise with FMBH’s focus on sustainable, large-scale development. The new center is positioned to modernize oncology services, enhance medical education, and strengthen community health initiatives.
In addition to healthcare, the hospital continues to operate senior high school and college programs in health sciences, tourism, psychology, and technical skills training, contributing to the development of future professionals.
A highlight of the launch is the introduction of Oncothermia (mEHT), an advanced, non-toxic cancer treatment that targets tumors while preserving healthy tissue. Already available in more than 450 centers worldwide, it is now offered in the Philippines exclusively at Filipino Mega Hospital.
This milestone underscores a shared commitment to advancing healthcare, education, and innovation for the benefit of Filipino communities nationwide.
