Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced the nationwide expansion of its FurPAL program, allowing passengers to bring their small dogs in-cabin on all domestic routes.
Under the program, bookings are set at ₱2,500 one-way base fare for dogs weighing up to 10 kilograms, at least eight weeks old, and fully weaned. Each passenger may bring one pet, with a maximum of three dogs permitted per flight.
“As the pioneer of pet air travel in the Philippines, PAL celebrates the unbreakable bond between people and their pets. This expansion helps more travelers enjoy seamless, safe, and memorable journeys with their beloved furpals,” the airline said in an advisory.
Pets must be transported in a soft-sided, leak-proof carrier equipped with pee pads and at least two ventilation panels. Carriers must remain under the seat in front of the passenger throughout the flight.
The FurPAL program was first introduced in November 2025, initially covering flights to Boracay, Bohol, and Siargao. Its expansion marks a significant step in making domestic air travel more inclusive for pet owners.
