The Quezon City Government, through its Tourism Department, is joining forces with the Quezon City Travel Agencies Association (QCTAA) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) for the “More to Explore” Travel Expo on August 16–17, 2025 at the QC M.I.C.E. Center inside the QC Hall Compound.
The press conference for the event gathered key figures from the government, tourism, and events sectors: Ms. Margie De Castro, QCTAA President; Hon. Tany Joe Calalay, Chairperson of the Committee on Tourism, Cultural Affairs and Heritage; Mr. Ivannovich Dmitriv Agote, OIC Assistant Regional Director of DOT–NCR; Ms. Giana Aira Barata, Acting Chief Tourism Operations Officer of the QC Tourism Department; Ms. Christine Juliane Oplaza, Miss Grand International 2024; and Mr. Aleth Agulto, QCTAA Vice President and Chairman of the “More to Explore” Travel Expo.

In her opening remarks, Ms. De Castro said the event serves as an important platform to highlight Quezon City’s rich cultural heritage, diverse destinations, and innovative tourism experiences.
Free and open to the public, the two-day expo will showcase over 120 exhibitors, including travel agencies, airlines, hotels, resorts, and food and lifestyle brands. Visitors can enjoy exclusive travel deals, destination packages, and curated leisure experiences under one roof.
The expo also aims to boost domestic tourism, support local communities, and promote sustainable livelihoods. Free rides will be provided via the City Bus Libreng Sakay program, with a drop-off point at QC Hall.
Guests can also join free guided walking tours covering QC Underparadisso, Quezon Heritage House, Bahay Modernismo, and the Presidential Car Museum, plus a side trip to the Tandang Sora Museum.
With “More to Explore,” Quezon City invites everyone to rediscover the joy of travel—right in the heart of the metro.
