UBE Express Launches Cavite’s First P2P Bus Service from Imus to NAIA

IMUS CITY, Cavite – Residents of Cavite now have a more convenient way to reach the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) with the launch of the province’s first premium point-to-point (P2P) bus service. Operated by UBE Express, the new route connects Imus City to all NAIA terminals, offering a seamless travel option for commuters and travelers. The service officially launched on November 18, 2024, at The District Imus along Aguinaldo Highway, Barangay Anabu II-D.

The ceremonial launch was led by Cavite 3rd District Congressman Adrian Jay “AJ” Advincula, Imus City Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula, UBE Express President Garrie David, and Lina Group of Companies Chairman Alberto Lina. Other key attendees included representatives from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), AyalaLand Malls, and various Cavite government officials.

Convenient and Accessible

The P2P service features 34-seater premium buses equipped with full air-conditioning for a comfortable ride. The route starts at NAIA’s Terminal 1, covering Terminals 2, 3, and 4 before arriving at The District Imus. Commuters can choose from eight daily trips, starting as early as 3:30 AM from NAIA.

The service is also budget-friendly, with a special discounted fare of P150 for OFWs and a regular fare of P300 per trip. According to UBE Express President Garrie David, the buses are expected to benefit not just OFWs but also local tourists and airport workers, providing a hassle-free and efficient travel alternative.

Transforming Cavite’s Transportation

"This is a significant development for Imus commuters traveling to NAIA or those heading abroad. It’s very convenient and will help ease the volume of motorists in the area," said Mayor Advincula.

To mark the launch, the first 50 passengers were treated to free rides by the city government of Imus. In addition, Team AJAA is offering complimentary rides from November 19 to 24, 2024, encouraging more commuters to experience the service.

The P2P bus service is expected to revolutionize airport travel for Cavite residents, reducing the stress of navigating traffic while providing a comfortable, timely, and direct connection to Metro Manila’s busiest airport.
