Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay is a personal oasis in Station One

As a seasoned traveler with a penchant for luxury and exclusivity, I often find myself seeking out destinations that offer more than just a temporary escape—I yearn for experiences that linger in memory long after the journey ends. Located on the pristine shores of Station Zero lies a hidden gem that embodies the essence of paradise: Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay.

From the moment I set foot in the Godofredo P. Ramos Airport, anticipation bubbled within me. The promise of an exclusive retreat awaited, and Crimson did not disappoint. 

The short journey from the airport to the resort’s exclusive wharf was a pleasant trip, guided by friendly staffers whose infectious warmth welcomed us like old friends. With just a handful of fellow travelers aboard, the intimate setting allowed for genuine connections to form, complemented by the safety-conscious measures that ensured peace of mind throughout the journey.

Upon arrival at the resort, the vibrant rhythm of drums greeted us, played by a trio whose beats echoed the pulse of Boracay itself. The energetic musicians, along with the sight of my sea view room and white sand on our feet, set the tone for what would be an unforgettable getaway.

Thoughtful touches adorned every corner of the resort, from the elegant tote bag to the straw hat that shielded me from the tropical sun, which was waiting for me at my bed when I entered my room. 

Art pieces dot the entirety of the resort. They even have a resident artist who holds art classes regularly. The resort’s general manager, Patrick Manthe, it turns out, is also an artist and an art enthusiast. This is probably why the resort has such high regard for art and artists, even holding painting competitions they call “Art Warrior.” Oh, and the resort has a dedicated art room, too.

Sustainability intertwined seamlessly with luxury, evident in the provision of reusable bottles and eco-conscious initiatives that underscore Crimson’s commitment to preserving the island’s natural beauty.

Dining at Saffron became a culinary journey, guided by the hospitality of its crew and a menu that celebrated the flavors of the region. Each meal felt like a celebration, a symphony of tastes that danced on the palate and left me craving more.

The spa experience was a sanctuary of relaxation, where the cares of the world melted away beneath skilled hands and a choice of massage oils tailored to my preferences. The attentive staff catered to my every need throughout my stay, ensuring that no request went unattended.

Amidst the luxury and extravagance, it was the little moments that left the greatest impression on me. Waking up to the sight of the sun-kissed beach from my suite window, or exchanging pleasantries with the ever-cheerful hotel staff—these were the memories that lingered, long after I bid farewell to Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay.

As I reflect on my time at Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay, one word comes to mind: gratitude. I am grateful for the privilege of experiencing such unparalleled luxury, for the warmth and hospitality of the staff, and for the memories that continue to make me smile long after I have come back to Manila.

This has become my favorite place in Boracay, and I will come back again and again every chance I get.
