Dee Le, Founder, donio's entrepreneurial spirit was ignited at a young age. At just 21, she embarked on her first business venture, embracing the challenges and rewards of building something from the ground up. Her passion for business led her to pursue a Master's in Entrepreneurship at the Asian Institute of Management, where she honed her skills in strategy, innovation, and leadership.

However, her journey into the world of tea was serendipitous. While traveling across Europe, particularly the UK, Dee fell in love with the culture of tea. She wandered through charming tea cafes, marveled at exquisite blends, and experienced firsthand the ritualistic elegance of tea drinking.

A Christmas gift in 2024, a beautifully curated set of fine loose-leaf teas from India, sparked a question: "Why is it that in the Philippines, our tea selection is so limited?"

This question ignited an idea. Dee envisioned introducing Filipinos to the same world-class teas she had discovered abroad, offering a luxurious yet accessible tea experience. With the help of a trusted friend and co-founder, Dee began sourcing premium, branded teas from India, the birthplace of some of the world's most celebrated teas.
