Etihad Rail Unveils High-Speed Passenger Train Timings, Slashing Travel Time Across Emirates

ABU DHABI – Etihad Rail, the UAE's national railway network, has officially announced the travel times for its high-speed passenger trains, promising to significantly reduce travel durations between Abu Dhabi and other key emirates.

According to a recent update shared on social media, the journey from Abu Dhabi to Dubai will take just 57 minutes, a major improvement from the current two-hour drive by road. This is set to offer a more efficient and convenient travel option for residents and visitors alike.

In addition, the high-speed trains will connect Abu Dhabi to Al Ruwais in just 1 hour and 10 minutes, and travelers heading from the capital to Fujairah can expect a journey of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

These faster travel times are part of Etihad Rail’s broader plan to enhance connectivity across the UAE, making it easier for passengers to commute between major cities while reducing congestion on the roads. The rail network is expected to boost both tourism and business travel, offering a modern and time-efficient alternative to road travel.
