It is known that you have never really travelled to a particular destination if you have not tried the country’s local cuisine. In fact, you can feel as if you are being transported to a particular country by just immersing on their culinary heritage alone. This is exactly what Paradise Dynasty wants their diners to feel whenever dining at any of their branches.

We visited their newest one at Greenbelt 5, 3rd level, Makati City. Eager to be transported to another destination without leaving the country. We tried their best-sellers and here are our take to encircling the food elements of Salt, Fire, Acid and Heat.
Specialty Dynasty Xiao Long Bao (8 flavours)

A Paradise Dynasty specialty, one cannot have enough of this dim sum as each flavor is represented by a particular color. They are the home of the World’s first 8-flavoured Xiao Long Bao. Flavors include Original, Foie Gras, Black Truffle, Cheese, Crab Roe, Garlic, Szechuan and Korean Kimchi.
All 8 flavors has a distinct flavor on it’s own and I can never choose a favorite but here is your cheat sheet:

Stir-fried Shredded Pork in Black Bean sauce served with Chinese Crepes

Salt represents the black bean in this sweet salty pork which you must wrap in Chinese crepe to balances the flavor. A dish reminiscent of Peking duck only in its pork version but all the flavor we crave for is there.
Crispy-fried Crystal Prawns tossed with Salted Egg Yolk

Another salt element as represented by the salted egg yolk; this dish encapsulates the umami of the prawn. Crispy and rich in flavor.
Black Pepper Beef (exclusive at Greenbelt 5 an podium branches)

An exclusive to Greenbelt and Podium branches, this black pepper beef has a bold flavor which compliment the tenderness of the beef slivers. A fire element due to the smoky feels it emits which comes from the wok hei cooking.
Spicy Szechuan Crispy Chicken

A heat element as Szechuan peppers scattered around the crispy chicken bits. A favorite amongst those who crave for spicy hot dishes.
La Mian with Braised Pork Belly in Signature Pork Bone Soup

Pork belly as the fat element tender and melt in your mouth topped in a bowl of freshly-made la mian and pork bone soup.
Fried Rice in Yang Zhou

Renowned Chinese rice topped with generous amount of fresh suahe and pork asado bits, is a crowd favorite.
Black Sesame Glutinous Rice Ball served with Ginger Soup
A traditional auspicious dessert which everyone should try. Black sesame paste enveloped in glutinous rice ball in the slightly sweet soup with a hint of ginger taste.
Let’s travel the world of Chinese cuisine and visit any of their branches in
Greenbelt 5, 3rd level, Makati City
Conrad S. Maison 2nd level, Pasay City
