On June 16, 2019, Richmonde Hotel Iloilo’s all-day dining restaurant, The Granary, is throwing a Filipino food festival just for dad! Filled with all-time favorite Pinoy fare, the Father’s Day Fiesta Dinner Buffet is sure to be a fun and happy family celebration in honor of the man of the house.

Let dad indulge in the delectably rich and familiar flavors of popular local cuisine that goes perfectly with the bottomless Heineken draft beer he can drink all throughout his meal. Mouth-watering starters like kilawin, poached shrimp and grilled pineapple, Pinoy salad, fresh lampirong (windowpane oysters) with garlic-vinegar sauce, chicken liver wrapped in bacon, ensaladag langka, and nilatik na kalabasa are guaranteed to whet dad’s appetite for the hearty banquet prepared by Richmonde’s kitchen team especially for him.

Keep dad’s portions in check as he helps himself to yummy street food delicacies like chicharon baboy, chicken skin, chicharon bituka (intestine), kropek, and salted peanuts at the “Putok Batok” station. Rain or shine, the “Kaldohan” station featuring steaming hot Pancit Molo and La Paz Batchoy soups cooked the Richmonde way, are sure to hit the spot. The scrumptious spread of entrées and sidings that include patotin sa tuba (stewed duck in coconut vinegar), kaldereta, callos in olivia, inubaran na manok Bisaya, roasted camote herb, and kalo-kalo (fried rice) with kalkag are definite must-try dishes.
