Heads up, travelers! The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reminds the public that number coding is automatically suspended this Friday, October 31, in observance of All Saints’ Day Eve, a special non-working holiday.

With the suspension in place, vehicles can move freely on major roads without coding restrictions. However, authorities are reminding motorists to stay cautious, as traffic volume is expected to build up near cemeteries, terminals, and major expressways leading to provinces.

To ensure a smooth trip, motorists are advised to plan their routes early, check travel advisories, and allow extra time for travel. MMDA also urges everyone to observe road safety regulations, especially during this long weekend, as many Filipinos are expected to travel home or visit departed loved ones.

Let’s all make this All Saints’ Day weekend meaningful and hassle-free by driving responsibly and staying alert.
