Manila, Philippines — Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced the launch of its FurPAL Program, a new service that allows passengers to fly with their small dogs in-cabin to select local destinations including Boracay, Bohol, and Siargao.
Starting November 12, 2025, travelers may book one-way base fares for their pets at ₱2,500. The program covers small dog breeds up to 10 kilograms, at least eight weeks old, and fully weaned. Each passenger may bring one pet, with a maximum of three small dogs permitted per flight.

Pets must be placed in a soft-sided, leak-proof carrier that fits under the seat in front of the passenger, with maximum dimensions of 17 x 11 x 9.5 inches.
“We are initially offering this service for small dogs, and can expand to other dog sizes and pet types depending on aviation security and safety regulations,” said Alvin Miranda, PAL Vice President for Marketing.
The announcement comes as PAL reported its 15th consecutive profitable quarter in the April–June period, driven by higher passenger volumes. Net income rose 48% to $60 million, revenues climbed 6% to $831 million, and operating income increased 10% to $71 million.
