Led by the top management of SM Hotels and Conventions Corp (SMHCC) and Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA, the hotel has successfully launched its first Christmas Tree Lighting last November 12, 2019, with the theme “Christmas in the City”.
Nearly 200 distinguished guests from affiliates, media partners, government officials and top management of different corporations attended the event as the hotel unveiled its symbolic Christmas tree adorned with blue, white and silver colors swathed with sparkling and stunning decorations.
The celebration started with a Christmas Message from the hotel General Manager Mr. Nils Rothbarth, who happily expressed the holiday spirit as he greeted guests who graced the event. “The coming together of families, friends and communities, and the placing of each other at the very heart and center of the festive celebration, is what the event is all about.” he shared.
In support to SOS Children’s Village’s mission to provide assistance and protection to the children entrusted to their care, Christmas presents were given to the kids headed by the executive committee of SMHCC and Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA. Following the ceremony, all guests were ushered at the Makiling grand ballroom to witness the musical concert featuring special performances like classical pieces, popular ballads and Christmas songs from country’s outstanding musical artists Ateneo Chamber Singers and Opus One.
Guests had an amazing time engaging in the selection of the hotel's holiday buffet prepared by Executive Chef Edwin Infante and his culinary team. Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA intricately displayed the abundant and bountiful tradition of Christmas, showing this season's festive spirit.
