PhilEnergy 2024 Highlights Innovative Energy Solutions in its 4th Edition in March.

PhilEnergy, a highly anticipated B2B trade event, is set to take place as a stand-alone event from March 20 to 22 in Pasay City, Philippines, marking its fourth edition. The event aims to bring together local and international energy leaders, brands, organizations, and businesses in a three-day trade show, promoting the revitalized energy sector in the country.

Originally a co-located event with Informa Markets' WATER PHILIPPINES, PhilEnergy's potential has led to its decision to become a stand-alone event in 2024. This edition serves as its launch event and is positioned as the "ultimate platform for industry players to explore cutting-edge energy technologies and products." Anticipating over 4,000 trade visitors from the energy field and industry, the event will host over a hundred participating energy and related companies from the Philippines, Southeast Asia, and beyond.

Rungphech 'Rose' Chitanuwat, Country General Manager of Informa Markets in the Philippines, highlights PhilEnergy as the country's most comprehensive energy trade event, fostering collaboration to propel the clean energy revolution towards a sustainable and net-zero future.

In addition to the exhibition showcasing industry products and innovations, PhilEnergy 2024 will feature seminars, workshops, and conferences facilitated by partner organizations, covering topics such as Smart Grid Technologies, Developing Future Energy Systems, Power System Stability and Control, and Power System Panig Optimization.

PhilEnergy is positioned as a transformative moment in the Philippines' energy landscape, supporting the transition towards a sustainable, low-carbon future. Notable speakers include ambassadors from China and Denmark, along with business leaders such as Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, Lance Gokongwei, and Henry Sy.

Participating companies for PhilEnergy Expo include AsiaPhil Inc., Daikin Philippines, G Technology System Incorporation, Prisma Electrical Controls Corporation, Schneider Electric Philippines, Yokogawa Philippines, among others. The event expands its focus to five main energy profiles: Renewable Energy (RE), Energy Efficiency (EE), Electric and Power (E&P), Electric Vehicle (EV), and Energy Storage (ES).

This shift aligns with the growth of the renewable energy sector and the Philippine government's commitment to establishing secure, sustainable, and resilient energy strategies. President Ferdinand 'Bong Bong' Marcos Jr. has set ambitious goals, aiming for a 35% renewable energy share in the power generation mix by 2030 and 50% by 2040. Recent policies supporting renewable energy, including tax incentives and the removal of foreign ownership limits, further contribute to the sector's development.

As part of these initiatives, the Philippines has granted 'green lane processing' for up to P244 billion worth of renewable energy investments, with seven projects approved by the Board of Investments. PhilEnergy 2024 is scheduled for March 20 to 22, 2024, at the 2nd floor of SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, opening its gates at 9:30 a.m. For visitor inquiries, contact Informa Markets representative Danah F.
