Philippine Island Gems Shine in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Awards

MANILA -  The Philippines continues to dazzle global travelers as Boracay, Amanpulo, Palawan, and Siargao earn prestigious spots in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards, voted by readers in the United Kingdom.

Amanpulo, the ultra-luxury resort in Palawan, ranked 5th in the Rest of Asia category of the Best Resorts in the World list, scoring an impressive 94.77% satisfaction rating. It edged out resorts in Singapore and Vietnam, and was just behind top contenders in Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Amanpulo also recently received a Michelin Key, honoring its exceptional service and unique character.

Boracay secured 4th place in the Best Islands in Asia list with a score of 92.65%, narrowly beating Thailand’s Koh Lanta. It also outperformed Bali, which ranked 6th, and was closely followed by Palawan in 5th place, just 0.31% behind Boracay.

Siargao, the surfing paradise, made a splash at 7th place with 85.49%, reinforcing the Philippines’ reputation for diverse and breathtaking island experiences.

Asia’s Top 3 Islands were led by Vietnam’s Phú Quốc, Malaysia’s Langkawi, and Thailand’s Koh Samui, but the Philippines proudly claimed three spots in the top seven, showcasing its unmatched coastal beauty and hospitality.

With accolades across both resort and island categories, the Philippines remains a top-tier destination for luxury, adventure, and tropical bliss.
