The 15th Likhang HABI Market Fair returns on October 10 to 12, 2025 at Level 5, SPACE, One Ayala in Makati City. Organized by HABI: The Philippine Textile Council, the fair will feature about 100 weavers, weaving communities, artisans, and designers from across the Philippines.

“The Likhang HABI Market Fair is that one weekend each year when weaving communities present their best creations and new techniques that will become part of our weaving culture and history,” said HABI president Mia Villanueva.
Now in its 15th year, the fair has helped revive and strengthen the local weaving industry. Its relocation to the larger SPACE at One Ayala reflects its growth, offering more room for vendors and guests with convenient access through MRT, bus, and mall connections.
Kwentong Kultura: The HABI Lectures
This year introduces Kwentong Kultura: The HABI Lectures, a series of talks featuring voices from the weaving and fashion industries. Sessions will highlight heritage fashion advocacy, entrepreneurship in textiles, and applications of handwoven materials beyond fashion. Among the speakers are Filip + Inna founder Len Cabili, knitwear designer Lulu Tan-Gan, and ZACARIAS1925 creative director Rita Nazareno. Registration is P200 via https://forms.gle/DypVoUT4AHkzx8tc6.
Showcasing CraftsmanshipThe fair will also present entries to the 8th Lourdes Montinola Piña Weaving Competition and the 4th Eloisa Hizon Gomez Abaca Weaving Competition, with awarding ceremonies scheduled on October 11 and 12.
Expanded Food and Lifestyle Section
An expanded food and lifestyle section curated by Chef Sau Del Rosario will showcase regional delicacies and featured restaurants, reinforcing the fair as a feast for the senses.
More Than a Market
Beyond commerce, the event creates meaningful encounters between weavers and buyers. “Meeting customers helps artisans understand what the market wants,” said HABI President Emeritus Adelaida Lim. HABI Secretary Rambie Lim added that hearing directly from the weavers deepens appreciation of each textile’s cultural meaning.
Sustainability at the Core
HABI also partners with the Mahalina Foundation, co-founded by Mercedes Zobel and Dr. Patricia Araneta, to promote cotton propagation and natural dye practices. These initiatives support sustainable weaving from raw materials to finished fabrics.
The 15th Likhang HABI Market Fair is supported by SM Investments, PAGCOR, Okada Manila, AY Foundation, Marubeni, 7-Eleven, SGV Foundation, Far Eastern University, STI Education System, and Space at One Ayala.
