In her new role at the PCSSD, Do is expected to build on this experience, aiming to further elevate the Philippines’ status as a leading destination for both recreational and professional scuba diving. Her leadership will be key in shaping the future of dive tourism and increasing the Philippines' visibility on the global stage.
The PCSSD, an attached agency of the DOT, plays a critical role in positioning the Philippines as a top diving destination in Asia. It oversees the implementation of programs, regulations, safety guidelines, and operational standards for sports scuba diving, ensuring the country remains competitive and safe for divers.
Present at the oath-taking ceremony were DOT Undersecretary and Chief of Staff Shahlimar Hofer Tamano, Assistant Secretary Judilyn Quiachon, PCSSD Executive Director Marco Ancheta, and Director Glen Ocampo.
With Do at the helm, the PCSSD is poised to enhance the country’s dive tourism industry, further advancing the Philippines' reputation as a global diving hub.
