More Than A Queen To Us – Experience Travel and Living Publisher, Ana Manansala

By Cesar Cruz Jr.

In celebration of Mother’s Day, we at Experience Travel and Living (ETL) pay tribute to our publisher, friend, and confidant Ana Manansala. We honor her as a mompreneur as she performs dual roles to the hilt. Blurring the line between being a mother and running her own PR firm and publication, her caring nature overflows to those around her. In fact, Ana goes by the moniker ‘Mother A’ among PR practitioners as a result. She exudes a caring aura people are instinctively drawn to.

Being a single mom motivated her to be at the top of her game. In her desire to provide a good life for her children, she has carved a name for herself in the PR industry for 17 years now. On top of that, the alpha female has also been a successful publisher of ETL magazine since 2014.

The saying “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care” seems to be her mantra. Whenever we gather for an alignment meeting, the team looks forward to her love language – food! Beyond the scope of her work as business owner, she exhausts ways to help us- be it as trivial as looking for a place to crash or as magnificent as creating a business opportunity for us. Moreover, it is easy to let our hair down and call a spade a spade when we are around our mother figure. Thus, we don’t have issues with her. If ever we do, we just want it to be the printed kind.

As a boss lady, there is an unflinching determination in her voice and conviction in her eyes when she would share her vision for ETL magazine. The leader draws wisdom not only from her wealth of experiences but more importantly, from the word of God when making decisions. She always reiterates the need to take a leap of faith and expect great things to happen. Her FB page is filled with daily bible verses which boost the spirit. Our captain peppers our group chat with inspirational messages to uplift our mood. Our queen deciphers the message of God for her through her surroundings and interactions.

It is no wonder we look up to the voice of this Broadcasting graduate as she echoes positivity not only in our ears but in our hearts as well. Interestingly, Ana Manansala spelled backwards results in ‘alas na naman a’ which in the vernacular means ‘another ace’. Truly, Ana has been acing her role as mompreneur through grit, determination, and her unwavering faith in God.
