Celebrates Filipino Creativity and Innovation

Quezon City, February 26, 2026 – In celebration of its 25th Anniversary and National Arts Month, Magna Prime Chemical Technologies, Inc., in partnership with the United Artists Society, announced the winners of the Sinclair National Art Competition at the Sinclair Pro Store in Del Monte, Quezon City. The nationwide initiative champions Filipino creativity while showcasing how advanced paint technologies elevate contemporary art and design.

After months of evaluation, exceptional artists transformed their visions using Sinclair Makaw Microcement Lime Plaster and Effect Paints—proving that when artistry meets innovation, surfaces become expressive storytelling mediums that evoke depth and emotion beyond traditional paint.

Derrick A. Tan, President and CEO of Magna Prime, shared that the competition provides Filipino artists a platform to explore decorative finishes that bridge interior design, wall art, and architecture. The initiative not only celebrates local ingenuity but also opens opportunities for the decorative wall design industry, supports sustainable livelihoods, and inspires the next generation of creatives.

Head Judge Maestro Eleazar Abraham “Abe” L. Orobia evaluated entries based on creativity, technical mastery, and innovative use of materials, upholding the competition’s high artistic standards.

The competition featured two categories: Canvas Obra, which honored fine art traditions through textured Makaw finishes on canvas; and Wall Obra, which showcased immersive architectural works where art and design seamlessly converge.
