The Luxent Hotel in Quezon City officially ushered in the festive season with its annual
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 19, 2024, at the Lush Bar & Lounge. This
heartwarming event brought together hotel management, esteemed guests, and media partners in a celebration of community, charity, and holiday spirit.
For over a decade, the Luxent Hotel has illuminated not just its grand halls but also the lives of many through its commitment to social responsibility. This year, the event theme highlighted the celestial and radiant essence of the Luxent Hotel, reflecting its status as a prime destination for media and celebrity gatherings.
The evening commenced with a stunning performance by the OLFU Chorale, followed by a
heartfelt rendition from The Voice Teens semi-finalist and Tawag ng Tanghalan champion, Emar Jhun De Guzman. These performances set the stage for the night's main highlight — the ceremonial lighting of the grand Christmas tree.
General Manager Melanie Siy-Pagkalinawan led the ceremony alongside distinguished figures like Quezon City Councilor Irene Belmonte, aspiring Councilor Enzo Pineda, and Maria Victoria Paje from the Department of Tourism. Together, they lit the tree, symbolizing hope and unity during the holiday season.
A cornerstone of this year's celebration was the hotel’s partnership with the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC), focusing on cancer patients. Luxent Hotel is hosting an outreach program on December 13, 2024, to extend its support to this cause.
The program also included an awarding ceremony honoring notable guests and supporters,
such as representatives from the Quezon City Government and the Department of Tourism.
Wrapping up the evening were closing remarks by Director of Sales and Marketing Sharon
Deanne Guerrero and a delightful cocktail reception.
With 255 elegantly designed rooms, versatile event spaces, and diverse dining options, Luxent Hotel has established itself as a hub for both leisure and business in the metro. This year’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is another testament to its commitment to fostering meaningful connections and making a difference in the community.
